Let's talk about South Shields...

Let's talk about South Shields...

How we live has changed a lot lately. We're shopping, working and relaxing differently - which has had a significant impact on how and where we spend our time.

Keeping it local

These changes aren't going to stop or slow down so we need to make sure that South Shields continues to be a place where residents, businesses and visitors choose to spend time.

That's why we launched Our South Tyneside Conversation on October 10, 2022.

We called it a conversation - because that is what it is. There's plenty to discuss and plenty of questions we'd like to ask you, including:

  • What is the town missing?
  • What do we need more of?
  • What do we need less of?

There are a few ways to join the conversation.

It's all about you

It's all about you

Even though we'll arrive at the answers together, we've had some thoughts on what we could do, but we want to know what you think.

Great ideas can come from anyone and shaping the future of South Shields needs to involve as many people who live, work and play in South Tyneside as possible.
